Moving home is as individual as you and your family are. Our services are tailor-made for you. Whether you've been in your home for a year or your whole life, here are the keys to getting your move right, along with what you can expect if you do things the 'Broughton Way'.
An experienced estimator will meet you at your home to discuss your move. If you live outside Edinburgh and its surrounding areas please contact us for advice about moving further afield.
All customers receive a personalised written quote. This is free of charge, with no obligation and clearly details the services included, with no hidden extras.
Adequate manpower is vital for a quality move. We strive to get that right every time and we also provide the same foreman throughout your move to ensure smooth operation.
Unlike some other removal companies our prices include insurance for your goods whilst in transit and in storage, giving you peace of mind.
Moving isn't one-size-fits-all, so our vans aren't either. We operate 11 modern vehicles of varying sizes. Our vehicles are all regularly maintained and fully equipped with all the necessary materials to ensure your move is completed to the highest standard.
When you move with us all your packing materials are included in the removal cost. All furniture is blanketwrapped and secured by webbing in our custom-built vans. All beds and soft goods are protected whilst in transit to ensure safe delivery. Hanging garment carriers are standard on each vehicle.
The Broughton Removals Edinburgh Depot is a secure, state-of-the-art, purpose-built storage facility. This is home to around 800 containers, protected by the latest security system. You are welcome to visit us and have a look.

You pay on completion of your move to ensure that you are happy with the complete service and we won't charge you for anything that isn't in your quote.
After your move we provide a free service to collect your boxes once you have unpacked as we are committed to recycling and reducing our carbon footprint.
